“Spiral of Color”

*Spiral of Color* is a 30 by 40-inch acrylic painting that captures a moment of energetic motion through abstract expression. At its core, this piece explores the vibrant interplay of swirling lines and dynamic splatters, set against a crisp white background that highlights the intensity and chaos of the composition.
In creating *Spiral of Color,*

I focused on the relationship between color and movement. Black, blue, red, orange, and beige weave together in vigorous strokes and spontaneous drops, forming a dense network of lines that seem to dance and collide across the canvas. The painting’s texture emerges from this layered exchange—each line and splatter contributing to a complex rhythm of color and form that feels both immediate and alive.

The inspiration for this work came from my fascination with splattering techniques—the unpredictability and energy they bring to painting. With *Spiral of Color,* I wanted to deepen this sense of spontaneity by emphasizing how colors and lines interact in a fluid, almost chaotic conversation. The result is an abstract expression that invites viewers to trace the movement, discover shifts in tone, and feel the pulse of color as it spirals outward.

This piece speaks to the tension between control and chance—the deliberate gestures balanced against moments of surprise that arise during the creative process. It’s a visual experience that encourages reflection on the vitality found in motion and the layered complexity of form, all conveyed through carefully considered yet free-flowing acrylic paint.

*Spiral of Color* offers a compelling pause in a fast-paced world, an invitation to engage with color’s expressive potential and the visceral energy that emerges when lines converge and diverge with abandon.
