“Evenings Reflective Tide” on mounted wood

“Evenings Reflective Tide” is a 16′ by 20″- inch Is a print made from the original abstract painting, This print offers an abstract exploration of fluid motion, distilled into a dynamic interplay of color and form. Rooted from the original painting, this piece channels the essence of moving water through a carefully balanced blend of blues, black, white, and a hint of purple. The colors flow and swirl together, creating organic, wave-like shapes  extending the artwork’s energy that evoke the ever changing surface of the sea.

What makes this work distinct is the hand-painted frame added directly onto the print, extending the artworks energy and continuing the feeling of motion, drawing the eye outward and inviting the viewer into the scene.

My original motivation for creating “Evenings Reflective Tide” was to capture the elusive feeling of calm energy found in the subtle flow of the paint. By working from the original acrylic painting into a high-quality print, I aimed to preserve the texture and layers of color while exploring how printed media can offe a fresh dialogue with the original work.
