Jagged Luster

"Jagged Luster" features a 48 by 30-inch composition where a horizontal band of crushed glass and clustered metallic fragments shimmers against a smooth, muted gray background. Embedded pearl-like beads soften the reflective surface, while irregular vertical spikes of varying lengths rise above and fall below the band, forming a jagged silhouette that suggests a fractured cityscape or soundwave. The calm gray backdrop highlights the contrast between the luminous center and the sharp, textured elements, blending industrial grit with organic form.

Drawing inspiration from a glittering horizon, this piece explores the meeting point of light and shadow, strength and delicacy, structure and fluidity. The crushed glass adds a striking tactile quality, deepening the layered complexity of the artwork.
