“Color Drift”

Color Drift emerged from a desire to let go of control and allow movement, color, and emotion to take over the canvas. While creating it, I felt a sense of release—allowing the work to develop spontaneously rather than trying to direct every mark or movement.

Sweeping strokes of gray, black, white, and blue create the foundation, interrupted by 3D bursts of yellow, red, and blue. Curved lines, spirals, splatters, and layered marks move throughout the composition, creating a rhythm that feels energetic and unpredictable.

There is an intentional tension between chaos and structure in Color Drift. What may initially appear random is part of the painting’s visual language—layers of movement and texture that reflect the complexity of emotion and the freedom I felt while creating it.

For me, this painting is about release: letting go of expectations, trusting instinct, and allowing something unexpected to emerge. As always, I leave space for the viewer to find an entirely different meaning within it.
