“Celestial Window”

Celestial Window was inspired by my fascination with the night sky and the feeling of looking into something that seems both infinitely distant and somehow within reach.

Deep blues, purples, and pinks blend with bursts of orange and yellow, creating an atmospheric, almost celestial background. Flecks of white and gold appear throughout the layers like distant stars, light, and cosmic dust.

Against that softness, strong black lines cross the canvas and form irregular geometric shapes reminiscent of windowpanes. I was drawn to the contrast between the freedom and movement of the color and the structure of those lines—as though we are trying to frame something as vast and unknowable as the universe.

For me, Celestial Window captures that moment of looking into the night sky and wondering what lies beyond what we can see. But as with all of my abstract work, what you discover within it is entirely your own.
