Hi, my name is Michele Hirsch. I am an abstract artist based in Delray Beach, Florida, working primarily in acrylics and mixed media.

I create luxury abstract mixed media paintings designed for contemporary interiors and design-conscious collectors. My paintings are emotionally rich abstract art, that is elevated to enhance modern spaces.

Painting gave me the freedom to explore emotion, memory, movement, and the things we sometimes feel but cannot easily explain.

I approach each canvas with curiosity rather than a predetermined outcome. I’m drawn to the balance between spontaneity and structure—allowing a painting to develop instinctively while knowing when a line, a layer, or a moment of restraint can bring the entire composition together.

Through bold color, expressive marks, texture, and occasional metallic accents, I build layers that create movement, depth, and visual energy. Some paintings develop quickly and intuitively; others evolve slowly, changing direction many times before they feel complete. That unpredictability is an important part of my process.

What I love most about abstraction is that there is no single way to experience it. A painting may begin with my emotions and experiences, but once it leaves my studio, its meaning belongs just as much to the person viewing it.

My original paintings and custom commissioned works are for collectors who are drawn to contemporary abstract art with a strong sense of individuality. My goal is to create work that feels alive, sophisticated, and lasting—art that continues to reveal something new each time you return to it.
