About Me

Hi, my name is Michele Hirsch. Through mixed media, metallic accents, and gestural mark-making. I create layered abstract paintings with bold color, luminous metallics, and tactile surfaces designed to bring sophistication and emotional energy into a space.

My paintings are shaped by the tension between spontaneity and structure. I’m interested in how layered materials, metallic surfaces, and shifting color fields can create a sense of motion that feels both expressive and refined.

I’m drawn to the tension between structure and spontaneity, light and shadow, color and restraint. My work delves into the emotional and intuitive, creating immersive pieces that resonate with movement, memory, and energy. 

My artistic journey began as a personal search for expression beyond words. I approach each canvas with curiosity and an open mind. Each artwork tells a story that is mine and the viewer’s, forming a bridge between the internal and external worlds.

Each painting is a journey built through instinct, guided by emotion, and shaped by my fascination with the unseen forces that move through us. 

I’m drawn to abstraction because it leaves space for interpretation while still carrying strong emotion and visual presence.

My goal is to make work that feels visually alive while also offering a sense of refinement and permanence.

I am based in Delray Beach, Florida, and work from my home studio, creating original acrylic paintings, custom commissions, and limited-edition collections. My work has found homes with private collectors and art lovers drawn to my distinctive blend of movement, color harmony, and the raw beauty of abstractions.
